A few months ago, as Skwerl and I bantered back and forth as we normally do, the topic of conversation as brought up of how Batman would stop villains using MySpace.  Don’t ask who originally started the idea: you’ll likely break up the team.  Regardless, it was a good way to get us out of work for a few hours, but Skwerl immediately started screaming that it would make a great web comic.  And I couldn’t really disagree.

Thus, we’re here today.

Gotham High is a breath of fresh air in a world of old comics.  You remember High School, right?  The bullies.  The jocks.  The posers goths.  It was all pretty well annoying and bizarre, like a circus that you would much rather run away from than to.  But what if you were Batman?  Would it have been harder?  More entertaining?  We’re going to go the other route and assume that it was probably quite annoying for our dear Dark Knight, and show you a world of High School insecurity using Batman and the DC Universe supporting cast.

The strip starts its regular run next Thurs (July 17th, to be exact, the day before The Dark Knight premieres), and will likely run weekly for the time being.  We hope you guys join us for and enjoy the strip!
