Do You Know The Mushroom Man?
So when I pitched the idea to Skwerl, it was originally something I planned as a short story. It was Skwerl and Racoon and instead of me and Racoon, and the day was ultimately going to be saved by then new SCC cast member Master Chief Koala. Skwerl ultimately decided that was just too many appearances by the SCC characters, and asked that I replace him and not use SCC characters.
The current strip is something of a bizarre amalgam. It acknowledges the SCC Universe, but not directly. For the sake of future storylines, we’re considered a part of there world, but its going to be very rare that we actually interact.
