Stink Child Comics #132 “WTF!?”

Apparently the reason that Sony has gone forward with "Venom" a spinoff from Spider-Man 3, was because Heath Ledger did great as The Joker.

How does Ledger doing great as Joker have ANYTHING to do with VENOM!?

First PS3, now this. Sony is just full of fail.

The only thing they have to do in common is the crazyness of the characters. But… Is this adequate? I say no.

Venom = Joker? I think not sir. Sony probaibly has seen the great fan reaction to a villian character and thought “Hey we can do that! Who do we have?” Then of course they realize “Well Venom is the only one we didn’t kill people care about.” And who doesn’t want a move based on the premise of an emo goo monster that just wants to dance…

I didn’t want venom in spiderman 3 because I knew they would screw it up. Now on the upside we get the “We’re sorry for Spiderman 3 game” and what the hell a couple of our potato bacon bombs (Venom Movie). I feel sick.

And open wide, Abigail-May, cause here comes the gravy pipe! (Underworld 3)

Oh they didn’t screw Venom up in Spider-Man 3. They gave us the same one-note bullshit we’ve been getting in the comics for the last 20 years. The only difference is we got a super-cool Jazz dance scene!

We should hold your eyes open a la Clockwork Orange and make you watch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQ9r8dE7_iY over and over again.

DAMatt, I didn’t told that Venom=Joker, I only told that Venom and Joker are totally insane, and that this is their only vaguely common thing.

Personally, I liked Spiderman 3. Course, I guess I have low movie standards. I mean, I also love all the TMNT movies (Yes, even the third one), and will actually dance to “Ninja Rap.” Really, the only movies I don’t like are spoof movies, except those made by Mel Brooks.
